Special Watercolor Christmas Card Class |

Potter's Wheel Class |
All ages. Students will learn the art of "throwing the wheel" as well as other unique clay hand-building skills. Students can make 3 potters wheel items that will be fired and then students will paint their treasures. Friday, October 24 - 9:00am – 12:00pm session - Children will enjoy painting a 10” ceramic plate with a Thanksgiving theme OR a ceramic pumpkin. The plate is food safe and both pieces will be fired and ready for pickup on Tuesday, October 28th. As a second project, children will paint and decorate a half-mask with a Halloween theme using colorful paints, feathers and jewels. Friday, October 24 - 1:00pm – 4:00pm session – Using pre-cut small cardboard boxes, children will design a Halloween haunted house or log cabin just like the Pilgrims did long ago. They will use straw, sticks, pebbles, paints and other miscellaneous items to decorate their house or cabin. As a second project, children will paint a small Thanksgiving or Halloween ceramic piece which will be fired and ready for pick-up on Tuesday, October 28th. *NOTE: Realizing that many parents work, if there are enough requests to have an arts and craft camp on Thursday, October 23, we will do so. Please let us know if you are interested. |

Friday, November 28 - 9:00am – 12:00pm session – Children will paint 2 holiday ceramic holiday ornaments (from a selection of 10 different ornaments) which will be fired and ready for pick-up one week later. They will also design, glue, grout and paint a mosaic picture frame. Friday, November 28 - 1:00pm – 4:00pm session – Children will paint a food safe ceramic Santa or Snowman candy dish or Star of David mug which will be fired and ready for pick-up one week later. In addition, the children will paint a large wooden showflake or Christmas tree, which can be hung on a wall or in a window, then embellish it with jewels, tiles, ribbons, glitter and stickers. Saturday, November 29 - 9:00am – 12:00pm session – Children will paint a food safe ceramic Santa or Snowman Soap Dish or Star of David mug. They will also paint 2 holiday ceramic holiday ornaments (from a selection of 10 different ornaments). Items above will be fired and ready for pick-up one week later.\
Saturday, November 29 - 1:00pm – 4:00pm session – Children will design, glue, grout and paint a holiday picture frame using coloring ceramic tiles. As a second project, the children will use acrylic paints to paint 2 holiday wooden ornaments which will be embellished using glitter, tiles, jewels and ribbons. |

Pre-CHRISTMAS “DROP AND SHOP” CAMP SESSIONS Half-day sessions are $35. You can register your child by calling 818-0774. “Drop” the kids off for a fun session of arts and crafts while you “shop” for the afternoon. Sunday, December 21 - 1:00pm – 4:00pm session – Children will make a beaded/jeweled bracelet as a gift for mom, paint and then embellish (glitter, jewels, etc.) a 4x4x4 treasure box as a gift for dad and paint 1 holiday ornament using acrylic paints. All craft items will then be wrapped by your child as a “surprise” for Hanukah or Christmas. Monday, December 22 - 1:00pm – 4:00pm session – Children will paint and embellish a picture frame for dad. Then they will design, glue, grout and paint a mosaic holiday hot plate for mom. These gifts will then be wrapped by your child as a “surprise’ gift for Hanukah or Christmas. |
